FAQs

We have other fundraising needs, can you help?

Absolutely! We can support you with anything you think (or don’t actually realise) that you need.

We spend time getting to know you and your organisation right at the start, so that we can offer the best possible advice to improve your fundraising, whether that’s just support with one thing or a wider scale fundraising project.

No job is too big, or too small, for us to help you with!

Can you guarantee income? What happens if we don't raise any money?

There is no way for us to guarantee you will generate income from working with us. We would love to be able to say we promise results, but unfortunately the sector just doesn’t work like that. What we can promise is that you will have the tools and skills to put your organisation in a better position for raising money, if none is raised through this project. We will do everything in our power to mitigate this risk as we know that as a small charity, raising money is the most important thing right now!

How quickly will we see income?

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a ‘how long is a piece of string’ question! Whilst impossible to guarantee, we would expect you to start seeing income within 6 months of starting to work with us.

Will we be working with lots of different people? Who will manage our project?

Constellation works by providing you with a bespoke fundraising team of experts, built to your needs. This will vary from organisation to organisation, with different numbers of associates needed for different projects.

What makes us special, though, is that you have a dedicated key contact who will lead the project, communicating messages between you and the associates and ensuring that work is completed in a timely and quality way.

We’ll give you the opportunity to meet everyone working on your project though, with an introductory cuppa at the beginning of our time together!

How is Constellation Fundraising different to other Fundraising consultancies?

Constellation Fundraising’s unique feature is that we are based on a model of team work.

Whilst most other consultancies focus on providing a single consultant to carry out work, we’ve recognised that often, that’s not the right support for small charities, who need lots of different skills to improve their fundraising.

Our team-based model means that our associates work as part of a team to deliver your fundraising support needs, creating room for ideas to flourish and addressing your needs in a much more holistic way, leading to a more sustainable future for your charity.

What will it cost?

We want to be as transparent as possible with costs, as we know that that is an important consideration when deciding to work with external fundraisers. We’re aware that very small charities may not have the budget to work with us; even if that is the case, we’re always happy to jump on a call to signpost you to some fantastic free resources.

We work on a sliding scale of day rate ranges based on your organisation’s income. For more information please see our pricing page.

Fitmums and Friends

It really has been such a pleasure to work with you, have you question us, make our approach sharper, and help us make inroads across the charity to getting the right information as a foundation.

I know the work you have been doing will have more positive impacts than ‘just’ any successful funding.

Phoebe was a fantastic addition to our team when we were navigating a number of strategic and organisational changes. We saw improvement across income, social and comms engagement. Phoebe brought passion, years of experience and creativity to a number of projects which were a real success.
